چکیده

Such a set G is said to be maximal monotone if it is maximal among monotone sets in the sense of set inclusion, and a mapping T is said to be maximal monotone if its graph G(T) is a maximal monotone set. For reflexive Banach spaces X and mappings T with D(T)~X, the basic result obtained independently by Browder [2] and Minty [20] states that if T is a monotone operator from D(T)=X to X* which is hetnicontinuous, (i.e. continuous from each line segment in D(T) to the weak topology on X*), and coercive, i.e.

Nonlinear Elliptic Functional Equations in Nonreflexive Banach Spaces

If the coefficient functions Aa have at most polynomial growth in u and its derivatives, we have shown in [ l ] how existence theorems for solutions of variational boundary value problems for the equation A (u) —f may be obtained from monotonicity assumptions on the nonlinear Dirichlet form of A, with extensions to weaker ellipticity assumptions in [3], [4], [9], and [15]. These results extend ...

Solving infinite system of nonlinear integral equations by using ‎F-‎generalized Meir-Keeler condensing operators, measure of noncompactness and modified homotopy perturbation.

In this article to prove existence of solution of infinite system of nonlinear integral equations, we consider the space of solution containing all convergence sequences with a finite limit, as with a suitable norm is a Banach space. By creating a generalization of Meir-Keeler condensing operators which is named as F-generalized Meir-Keeler condensing operators and measure of noncompactness, we...

A Hybrid Proximal Point Algorithm for Resolvent operator in Banach Spaces

Equilibrium problems have many uses in optimization theory and convex analysis and which is why different methods are presented for solving equilibrium problems in different spaces, such as Hilbert spaces and Banach spaces. The purpose of this paper is to provide a method for obtaining a solution to the equilibrium problem in Banach spaces. In fact, we consider a hybrid proximal point algorithm...

Maximal Monotone Operators in Nonreflexive Banach Spaces and Nonlinear Integral Equations of Hammerstein Type by Haim Brezis and Felix

Let Y be a Banach space, Y* its conjugate space, X a weak*-dense closed subspace of Y* with the induced norm. We denote the pairing between x in X and ƒ in 7 by (y, x). If T is a mapping from X into 2 F , T is said to be monotone if for each pair of elements [x9 y] and [u, w] of G(T)9 the graph of T, we have (y—w, x—w)^0. Tis said to be maximal monotone from X to 2 F if Tis monotone and maximal...
